Ky-mani , who is getting close to finishing his third album untitled, is definitely a superstar. Ky-mani was born in Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend, and Jamaican champion in table tennis, Anita Belnavis. East African words for Ky-mani mean adventurous traveler. In the sense of an East African man, his music and tours can be described as an adventure. The Journey was his first album of music. He was an eclectic artist who was seeking his niche in music. As of 2001 Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae record was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey were well-received worldwide. This established Ky-Mani's standing as an artist of her own. Ky-Mani's musical style is one of roots reggae mingled along with hip hop, R&B in addition to contemporary jazz.
